Direct Support Professional: Residential, Overnight, Relief (non-exempt, hourly)
The Direct Support Professional is an hourly, benefited employee who works under the immediate supervision of an assigned Program Manager, often, in conjunction with an Adult Foster Care Provider and in accordance with Granite Bay Care Personnel Policies and State guidelines. Shifts and schedules vary according to program need and travel/transfer between program sites is required. Adult Foster Care Provider/Professional Roommate (contracted)
An Adult Foster Care (AFC) Provider is a live-in roommate for an Adult with Mental Retardation who struggles with Mental Health and Behavioral Issues. The AFC Provider is required to assume the responsibilities for the care of the home (i.e. lease, utilities, shopping, etc) with the ongoing assistance of Granite Bay Care. Per contract, they are paid a monthly stipend that covers operating expenses of home, the expenses associated with caring for the individual, and for services rendered according to “difficulty of care”. In addition to the application, selected AFC Providers must accept all contract terms. Program Manager (exempt- salaried)
The Program Manager is an entry level, forty-hour salaried (exempt) management position reporting directly to Program Manager Director/Regional Director. The Program Manager coordinates services for multiple sites/individuals and supervises all employees and contractors associated with these sites (i.e. hire, payroll, evaluation, etc). The Program Manager facilitates/oversees the Person Centered Planning process and subsequent implementation, ensuring that quality assurance and compliance standards are routinely satisfied (e.g. monthly reporting). On-Call emergency duties are required and rotationally assigned.
